The Bering Sea is the halibut nursery that feeds the other areas including ours. Trawlers are killing a million baby
halibut a year in area 4 and that is a million less that might grown up and migrate to our waters. 13 out of 14
halibut killed in the Bering Sea are being thrown away like garbage, dead. If that is not worth writing a few words
to express your disgust, I can’t imagine what is.
